Families with children with Down syndrome in Belfast and beyond
Together21 is a group of families with children with Down syndrome (trisomy 21).
We’re run by parents, for parents. We’re here to offer advice to one another, build community and celebrate our wonderful children.
Our families have children aged from newborn babies to primary school age. We’re mostly from the Belfast area, but are open to families across Northern Ireland.
How we can help
We’re here to simply offer support and shared experience.
We have WhatsApp groups, which are open to any parent or carer with a child with trisomy 21 in Northern Ireland. And we run regular events for families and our children.
Events
Together21 runs lots of events throughout the week. We do everything from music sessions for our little ones, to information sessions for parents and carers. And, of course, a big party for World Down Syndrome Day!
All our events are open to anyone with a child with trisomy 21.
New and expecting parents
If you have a baby with trisomy 21, or if you’ve had a pre-natal diagnosis, we’re here for you.
We know that getting a diagnosis can be hard at first. But you’re not alone. Together 21 is made up of parents who’ve been in the same place as you.
